Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the City's capital works program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project opportunities.
  • Manage project resources, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline, such as project management, engineering, accounting or business administration.
  • At least five years of experience in capital works planning/programming or project management, preferably within local government.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and processes from client brief to handover.
  • Knowledge of local government annual and long-term financial plan budgeting processes.
