Business Insights Specialist

About the Job:
We're looking for an analytical expert to join our team and drive business performance through insightful data analysis. As a key member of our commercial team, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable strategies that drive growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with experience in extracting insights from complex data sets. You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end analytical projects, developing and refining metrics, and creating data visualizations that inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategy
- Presentation complex analysis in a clear and engaging way, creating 'data stories' that excite and motivate stakeholders
- Develop and refine metrics, tools, and reporting systems to provide actionable insights across the organisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality analytical solutions
What We're Looking For:
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to extract and manipulate data to generate insights
- Strong Excel skills, especially in handling and analysing large datasets
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools, turning data into impactful visual stories
- A natural at data storytelling, able to make complex data easy to understand and actionable for non-technical audiences
- Commercial acumen with strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively across departments
