Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Second in Charge (2IC) at one of our established programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with primary school aged children and be part of a dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with kids, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team. Previous experience in Before and After School Care is preferred but not essential.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position working Monday to Friday. The hours are 7:15am - 9:15am for Breakfast Club and 2:30pm - 6:00pm for After School Care. Additionally, you will have 2.5 hours per week dedicated to administrative tasks during Vacation Care time.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver a high-quality program promoting service excellence and safety.
  • To co-manage your own team and supervise the children and OSHC service.
  • To maintain a safe and engaging environment for all children.
Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will hold a First Qualification or be studying towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, OSHC, Youth Work, Sport Science, Phys Ed, or Arts (Recreation). They will also have 1-2 years' experience working with children over preschool age.
