Comprehensive Oral Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Comprehensive Oral Health Practitioner to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in preventive and restorative dentistry, with excellent communication skills and the ability to educate patients of all ages.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our dentist and dental assistant to provide high-quality dental therapy services directly to schools, daycares, and aged care communities. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Dental Therapy Services: Deliver comprehensive oral health care services, including check-ups, scale and cleans, fluoride applications, fissure sealants, and fillings.
  • Oral Examinations: Conduct thorough oral examinations and diagnostic services, such as X-rays.
  • Patient Education: Provide clear and supportive oral health education to children, families, and aged care residents.
  • Clinical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth patient care and exceptional outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Current registration as a Dental Therapist with the relevant authority.
  • Experience: Strong clinical experience in preventive and restorative dentistry.
  • Skillset: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients of all ages.
  • Attitude: A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude suited to a mobile practice environment.
  • Education: Valid driver's license.
