Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced database administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Database administration, including design and implementation of databases, schema management, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects to meet business requirements.

  • Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery environments and procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

  • Perform database recoveries to minimize downtime and data loss.

  • Provide technical support to developers and end-users on database usage, query development, and tuning.

  • Develop operating system scripts to automate backups, data transfers, monitoring, and other tasks.

  • Serve as a technical lead for database-related projects and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database security measures.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on Oracle Database.

  • Strong expertise in database design, implementation, and performance tuning.

  • Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager, Grid Infrastructure, Real Application Clusters, and Automatic Storage Management.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
