About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work as an experienced database administrator with expertise in Oracle Database. You will be responsible for designing and implementing databases, ensuring data security, and providing support to development teams.

As part of this role, you will be working on various projects ranging from the installation of new packaged applications to the development of custom databases. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team including business analysts, systems analysts, programmers, and client users.

You will need to have a strong command of administering database security, data recovery, performance monitoring, and tuning. Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager, Grid Infrastructure, Real Application Clusters, and Automatic Storage Management is also required.

In addition to technical skills, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a database administrator with expertise in Oracle Database
  • Strong command of administering database security, data recovery, performance monitoring, and tuning
  • Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager, Grid Infrastructure, Real Application Clusters, and Automatic Storage Management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
