Home Care Support Worker

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team, providing essential support to older Australians living safely and independently in their own homes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients with daily tasks, offering friendly social support and transport to appointments, shopping or community outings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing domestic support including cleaning, meal prep, housekeeping and laundry
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks and activities
  • Observing and reporting changes – ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate records are kept

Working independently in the field, you will help deliver high-quality care and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

Requirements
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • A comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes (reimbursement provided)
  • Competent in the use of a smartphone
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
