Job Title: Personal CarerAbout the Role:

The Personal Carer plays a vital role in supporting clients living in the community, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spending time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, providing support with daily activities.
  • In-home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Delivering care in accordance with individualised Care Plans.
  • Supporting clients with community-based recreational and social activities.
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
Requirements:
  • A recognised qualification in aged care or individual support.
  • A current Australian driver's licence (green provisional minimum).
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle to use for work.
  • Experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
  • Ability to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
