About this role:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an in-home care worker. As part of our supportive and values-driven team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing domestic support, including cleaning, meal preparation, and housekeeping, as well as offering friendly social support and transport to appointments, shopping or community outings. You will also be required to observe and report changes, ensuring that care plans are up to date and accurate records are kept.

Key qualifications:
  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • A current driver's licence
  • A comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes
  • Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle
  • Competent in the use of a Smart Phone
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
