Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our laboratory as an Asphalt Laboratory Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technicians in supporting Asphalt testing
  • Conduct testing according to laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment as required
  • Maintain, observe and adhere to statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
  • Proactively promote process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • A strong commitment to safety and quality assurance
  • Previous experience in construction materials laboratory testing
  • Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting data
  • Good communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and Australian regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and promote a healthy team environment
