Aero Field Service Engineer

Are you looking for an exciting career in field service engineering? This role offers a unique opportunity to work with customers on-site, providing technical direction and ensuring safe and compliant installations.

We are seeking a skilled Aero Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the installation and maintenance of complex equipment.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality
  • Oversee the overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, plans, and reports for customers and internal stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong working knowledge of rotating equipment installation and maintenance, with experience on LM Aero Machinery lines (LM2500, LM 6000 etc)
  • Proven experience working in a mechanical role within the energy or oil and gas industry
  • A dynamic approach to customer service, with the ability to lead customers through complex decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences
  • A solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, including potential risks
