Asset Acquisition and Management Specialist

This is a highly specialized role that requires extensive knowledge of asset acquisition, management, and disposal. As an Asset Acquisition and Management Specialist, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our company by identifying, acquiring, and managing assets that meet business needs.

  • You will be responsible for developing and documenting full life-cycle strategies for individual assets, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and long-term mine plans.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop asset specifications, ensuring acquired assets meet operational and safety standards.
  • Manage asset delivery and commissioning, overseeing installation, initial testing, and final sign-off for smooth transition into operations.
  • Develop compelling business cases for new asset acquisitions or major upgrades, justifying capital expenditure and aligning with strategic business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mining equipment and operations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, project management, or similar fields.
  • Proven experience in asset management within the mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of mining equipment and operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
