Maintenance Asset Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Asset Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal cost, performance, and risk outcomes of our assets over their lifecycle.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to develop and implement maintenance strategies that drive business value. You will lead the development, review, and optimisation of maintenance plans, and collaborate with our Long Term Planning team to develop budget forecasting models.

You will also provide technical expertise to support the business in resolution of challenging faults and issues, and provide ongoing and enabling technical support to Projects, Operational Readiness, and Procurement teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive operational experience and equipment technical expertise working with water management assets, a reliability engineering background, and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

They will also have well-developed interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to drive business value.
  • Lead the development, review, and optimisation of maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate with Long Term Planning to develop budget forecasting models.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the business in resolution of challenging faults and issues.
  • Provide ongoing and enabling technical support to Projects, Operational Readiness, and Procurement teams.

Requirements:

  • Extensive operational experience and equipment technical expertise working with water management assets.
  • Reliability Engineering background.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
