Senior Mining Strategist - Lithium Operations

This key leadership position requires a seasoned mining engineer to oversee long-term planning and mine design, leveraging expertise in sustainable underground operations.

The successful candidate will bring technical excellence, strategic foresight, and strong project management skills to drive Liontown's growth strategy forward.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive mine plans that optimise value and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the geology, metallurgy, and operations teams to align designs with business objectives.
  • Contribute to project studies and expansion planning, providing technical inputs that are accurate and forward-thinking.

In addition to strong technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding team members.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in mining engineering with demonstrated leadership in underground operations.
  • Expertise in long-hole open stoping with paste backfill is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Deswik mine planning software is required.
