We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our commercial and operational performance.
About the Role:This leadership position will oversee procurement strategy, implement process improvements, and coach a team of professionals to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead commercial and operational performance, including financial oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy to optimize costs and improve supplier relationships
- Implement systems and process improvements across finance, procurement, and reporting functions to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Cultivate a high-performing team to achieve business objectives and drive change
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing, operations, and margins
- Strong leadership skills with experience in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency
- Proven track record in procurement and supply chain management, including supplier negotiation and cost control
- Solid financial acumen, including reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- ERP/system proficiency and experience implementing process improvements to drive business outcomes
- Energetic, commercially focused, and able to influence cross-functional teams
The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, entrepreneurial, and experienced in procurement and finance within FMCG, distribution, or wholesale environments.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial, finance, or procurement leadership roles is required.
