Abergeldie is a majority locally owned infrastructure contractor with over 30 years' experience delivering projects across sectors including water, utilities, bridges and roads, rail, energy and community infrastructure. Our purpose is to deliver complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

We are delivering some of Victoria's most significant long-term water infrastructure programs, including major works with South East Water, Yarra Valley Water and Melbourne Water. With a secured pipeline through to 2035, we're building our teams in Melbourne and inviting expressions of interest from experienced engineering and project delivery professionals. Opportunities are available in both South East (Dingley) and West Melbourne.

The Opportunity Overview

We are seeking Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers with experience in large-scale civil infrastructure, with proven experience specifically in water projects. Successful candidates will bring strong leadership, a focus on safety and quality, and a collaborative approach to working with clients and teams.

  • Lead project planning, delivery and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Oversee and mentor site teams to meet safety, quality and commercial targets.
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide technical expertise to deliver projects to specification and budget.
