**Job Opportunity:** Defence Support Professional

The Defence Support team is seeking a dedicated individual to provide information, support and develop activities for dependents of ADF members and families to ease the impact of mobility and service-related parental absence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will work within a collaborative environment, providing a commitment to supporting defence families. The role requires effective communication skills, ability to organise own work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

The Defence Support professional will plan, organise and deliver activities and resources relating to the needs of ADF families, acquire an understanding of school operations, and hold a current driver's licence (MR Licence an advantage).

  • Provide information, support, and develop activities for defence families.
  • Work collaboratively to maintain a commitment to supporting defence families.
  • Develop and implement programmes to ease the impact of mobility and service-related parental absence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to hold a current driver's licence (MR Licence an advantage) and have a good understanding of school operations.
