System Integration Specialist

As an experienced Information Systems Technician with KBR DTS, you will apply your skills in the development, integration, and deployment of security-accredited ICT systems. You will work closely with technical colleagues and Defence stakeholders to provide IT technical and administration support for Mission Planning Systems. Your key responsibilities include supporting the sustainment, security, and evolution of ICT systems across fixed and deployed environments.

You play a critical role in ensuring mission systems meet the operational needs of users. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in Defence ICT environments and skills in areas such as:

  • MS Windows platforms (including imaging, security, and server environments)
  • Administration of client operating systems (Windows 10–11)
  • Software scripting, configuration management, and Office applications
  • Understanding of Defence ICT security accreditation requirements

Desirable experience includes areas such as:

  • Aviation Mission Planning systems and AC-C2CS environment
  • Networking (Layer 2/3), Linux systems administration, SQL databases, VMware/Hyper-V, McAfee, and geospatial data
  • Software testing, backup/recovery tools, and advanced Office applications
