Senior Bid Development Manager for Infrastructure Projects

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Development Manager to join our team in delivering projects that create a positive and tangible impact around the world.
As a key member of our bids and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving bid development for strategic pursuits, collaborating with bid partners and technical leads to ensure timely, high-quality submissions and presentations.
Liaising with clients and participating in tender briefings, debriefs, and implementing lessons learned is crucial to your success in this role. Your ability to build strong internal client relationships, gain trust, and effectively support senior leaders in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments will be highly valued.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on must-win decisions as an independent reviewer and client advocate, ensuring that our value proposition, service differentiation, and key client messages are effectively communicated.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute bid strategies for strategic pursuits, ensuring timely and effective submission and presentation delivery.
- Collaborate with bid partners and technical leads to craft compelling proposals that highlight our value proposition and service differentiation.
- Liaise with clients and participate in tender briefings, debriefs, and implementing lessons learned to drive business growth and improve processes.
- Act as an independent reviewer and client advocate on must-win decisions, ensuring effective communication of our value proposition and service differentiation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in Bids and Pursuits processes, encompassing all aspects of winning work, including pre-contracts, tendering, and pursuits management.
- Proven track record of building strong internal client relationships, gaining trust, and effectively supporting senior leaders in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
- Infrastructure experience is required, preferably with a background in Civil Infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and exceptional attention to detail.
What We Offer
As a Senior Bid Development Manager at AECOM, you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
