Project Coordinator for Infrastructure Development

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Symal, a trusted partner in the building and construction industry. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing and executing key tenders, working closely with Senior Estimators to achieve positive commercial outcomes.

Your ImpactYou will enable a greater ROI by turning market opportunities into won work. Your daily tasks will include:
- Preparing bids and tenders for various infrastructure projects including bridges, intersections, roads, and drainage
- Monitoring current competitive prices, new techniques, and cost trends
- Developing accurate estimates through first principles pricing of direct and indirect job costs
- Developing, training, and identifying improvements to the tendering systems, including facilitating the improvement and upskilling the team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
- A minimum of 5 years experience in construction cost planning, tendering, or project delivery working on diverse tenders/projects across Infrastructure
- Multi-disciplinary estimating experience on projects in excess of $20m
- Ability to lead a tender and work on multiple tenders concurrently
- Experience with Expert Estimation software

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
