A Rehabilitation Consultant is required to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation for individuals experiencing injury, illness, or disability. This role will involve developing personalized rehabilitation plans that support individuals in regaining independence and improving quality of life.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Ergonomics, and Activities of Daily Living evaluations.
  • Identify potential return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery milestones using lateral thinking and forward planning.
  • Apply problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and injury management knowledge to perform assessments and facilitate return to work.

This position requires collaboration with clients, families, insurance companies, employers, and healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors. Presenting case information and providing credible recommendations to stakeholders is crucial.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current driver's license and access to own transport.
  • Australian working rights.
