Customer Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have experience in claims assessment and management, with a strong understanding of general insurance principles and practices. You will be able to provide expert advice and guidance to customers, while also identifying and resolving complex issues in a timely and efficient manner.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders. You will be a team player, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

The role will involve:

  • Providing high-level customer support and service to clients across Australia
  • Managing and resolving complex claims and disputes
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions to improve customer outcomes
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services

About You
  • You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as business or law, and/or industry equivalent certification
  • You will have at least 2 years' experience in claims assessment and management, preferably in a complex, matrixed general insurance environment
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders
  • You will be able to plan and prioritize effectively, manage competing priorities and demands, and navigate complexity and ambiguity
