Leading Research in Quantum Sensing

The successful candidate will work closely with industry partners, academia, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds to achieve project goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing novel electromagnetic structures for quantum sensors using cutting-edge simulation tools.
  • Designing and testing advanced antenna and flux focalising structures for operation with quantum devices.
  • Collaborating with project partners to conceive and implement test beds for experimental characterisation.

As a leading expert in applied electromagnetics and antenna engineering, you will have a strong track record of research experience and passion for advancing quantum technologies.

A successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues. A strong understanding of the principles of electromagnetics, antenna design, and microwave engineering is essential.

Key qualifications include:

  • Completion of a PhD in applied electromagnetics and antenna engineering (or a closely related field).
  • Emerging profile in research with evidence of publications in refereed journals and effective presentation at conferences.

This is a full-time position available for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic environment.
