Antenna and Microwave Engineering Specialist for Quantum Sensing

We seek a Research Fellow/Senior Research Officer to lead antenna technologies and microwave engineering research for quantum sensing, collaborating with academia and industry partners in an interdisciplinary environment.
The successful candidate will conduct simulation and analysis of quantum sensor environments using electromagnetic simulation tools, design novel antenna and flux focussing structures, implement test beds, characterise designed structures in the microwave lab and anechoic chamber.
Conduct simulation and analysis of quantum sensor environments using industry-standard electromagnetic simulation tools.
Design novel antenna and flux focussing structures for operation with quantum sensors.
Implement test beds as per project requirements.
Characterise designed structures in the microwave lab and anechoic chamber.
This position focuses on research and development. Key responsibilities include:
Simulation and analysis of quantum sensor environments
Design of novel antenna and flux focussing structures
Implementation of test beds
Characterisation of designed structures
Candidates should have strong research skills, experience with electromagnetic simulation tools, and excellent communication skills.
