We are seeking an experienced and skilled Trade Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of trade operations, from documentation to shipment delivery.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. They will also possess a strong understanding of international trade regulations and procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling export/import documentation, including Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, Insurance Certificates, and Certificates of Origin.
  • Assisting in preparing, vetting, and signing sales/purchase contracts and trade/shipping paperwork.
  • Coordinating with ship brokers, port inspectors, and logistics partners to ensure smooth vessel loading and discharging.
  • Tracking vessel status and ensuring shipments comply with contractual delivery schedules.
  • Performing laytime calculations (guidance will be provided).
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports for management.
  • Liaising with overseas agents, consultants, trade partners, and authorities to resolve shipping or contract issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in trade operations, preferably with a chemical fertilizer company.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
