Job Title

A dynamic and experienced Youth Development Specialist is required to provide intensive pre-employment support to young people, helping them to achieve their work readiness goals and secure employment or education opportunities.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-level personalized support and service to customers, promoting our services to local industry, employers, and job seekers.
  • Support participants, employers, and education providers to convert job and education placements into sustainable outcomes.
  • Achieve agreed objectives and targets, working collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service skills, actively listening to and addressing the needs of young people, employers, and stakeholders.
  2. Promote our services to local industry, employers, and job seekers, building relationships and securing partnerships.
  3. Support participants, employers, and education providers to identify and pursue employment and education opportunities.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Critical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer service skills and/or experience, with a proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • A high level of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Able to meet monthly KPI targets, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • A passion for helping others, with a genuine interest in supporting young people to achieve their goals.
