HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HR generalist to join our team as a talent acquisition specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively partnering with our team leads to design and implement strategies that attract, engage, develop and retain talent and build upon a high-performance culture.

This role is responsible for delivering hands-on strategic and operational HR advice, improving business practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies and enabling our teams to achieve business outcomes. You will also focus on developing the strategic vision with key stakeholders to inform the strategy around people and culture.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with high-performance organizations and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They must be able to work closely with other departments to drive our long-term people strategy to produce a consistently high-quality pipeline of talent across the organization.

About This Role:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar HR role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education or Business Management
  • Passionate about performance, outcome-focused and able to take ownership for results
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with proven ability to connect and engage with people across different teams
  • Able to demonstrate a positive and proactive style, honest and collaborative through communication and decision-making
  • Operational ability to ensure that transactional aspects of HR are well executed
  • Able to work on various projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to perform all key HR functions exceptionally, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training and development, policies and procedures, record keeping, reporting, employee engagement initiatives, performance reviews and exit interviews
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think strategically, implementing initiatives that deliver upon business outcomes
  • A team member champion and change agent by anticipating people-related needs and delivering value-added services
  • Ability to analyze and produce reports on Human Resources metrics across the organization
