Job Description:

We are seeking a Team Leader to join our team, a not-for-profit organisation that enables people with a disability and people with a lived experience of the justice system to realise their full potential through participation in meaningful employment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of specialist contracts and be able to foster a supportive and encouraging working environment that builds a strong culture in exceeding all targets for commencements, placements and outcomes. They will also be responsible for day-to-day mentoring and coaching of team members, participating in initiatives and supporting the achievement of objectives as directed by the Employment Programs Management Team.

As a Team Leader, you will be committed to promoting inclusion and economic participation for all Australians, particularly those who are highly disadvantaged. You will build community capacity through representation with local employers, Indigenous, CALD, PWD, parenting, health, education & youth services.

This is a fixed-term role until 30 June 2025 with potential for extension, based in Caloundra or any of the Sunshine Coast or Wide Bay offices. The salary package includes competitive pay, superannuation, NFP salary sacrifice and bonus incentives.

  • Mentor and coach team members to achieve their goals and objectives
  • Participate in initiatives to support the achievement of Business Manager's objectives
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging working environment

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a not-for-profit organisation. They must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
