This is a residential role based in the Parkes local area, working a balanced 7-on, 7-off roster with 12-hour shifts—giving you the time to enjoy life outside of work while contributing to a high-performing underground team.
About the role The current sub-level cave at Northparkes offers a solid 10-year mine life, including five years of development mining.
Following this, Evolution Mining has a pipeline of future projects that will extend operations for another decade.

Reporting to the Underground Mining Coordinator, this role plays a vital part in reinforcing underground structures and ensuring the smooth operation of our development mining activities.
If you're experienced in shotcrete spraying and passionate about safety, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing: Operate shotcrete spraying equipment in underground environments with precision and care.
Apply shotcrete efficiently to support and strengthen underground structures.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Uphold Evolution's health, safety, and security standards—identifying risks and promoting a safe work culture.
Demonstrate behaviours that reflect Evolution Mining's core values.
About you We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in their work.
You'll ideally have: Residency in the Parkes area—or you're open to relocating to this welcoming regional community.
A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar underground role.
Experience operating Jacon units is preferred but not essential.
Certification to work at heights and security clearance to handle explosives, or the ability to gain this licence.
A strong commitment to safety—it's second nature to you.
A current "C" Class Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
