Business Development Opportunity

This is a customer-facing role where you will be working with local business customers to deepen relationships and achieve stronger customer advocacy within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer needs to provide tailored banking solutions.
  • Grow revenue and drive customer advocacy to increase the portion of customers who consider their bank of choice.
  • Manage lending requests up to $1 million, and home lending up to $5 million.
  • Engage and build relationships with Retail Branch and Broker networks to increase portfolio performance and customer outcomes.

You will work closely with a high-performing team to deliver excellent service to customers. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play an important role in retaining and growing a portfolio of existing customers, as well as acquiring new business through external relationships.

Requirements:
  • Business or retail banking experience.
  • Excellent understanding of the SME Market and local area knowledge.
  • Strong customer and relationship management skills.
  • Problem solving, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
