Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with small business customers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Craft Customized Solutions: Understand customer needs to provide tailored banking solutions.
  • Drive Growth and Advocacy: Grow revenue and drive customer advocacy to increase the portion of customers who consider us their bank of choice.
  • Lend Support: Manage lending requests up to $1 million for small businesses and up to $5 million for home loans.
  • Forge Partnerships: Engage and build relationships with the Retail Branch and Broker network to increase portfolio performance and customer outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Business or retail banking experience, with a strong understanding of the SME market and local area knowledge.
  • Excellent customer and relationship management skills.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
