Job Description

Senior Claims Service Consultant: A critical role that entails managing a portfolio of motor claims, providing exceptional customer service, and making liability decisions in line with the Australian Road Rules.

This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years insurance experience and sound knowledge of the Australian Road Rules.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing a high volume of calls and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Investigating and assessing claims to ensure appropriate strategies are implemented.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to report progress and potential strategic opportunities.
  • Negotiating with other insurers and parties to achieve the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.
About You / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years insurance experience.
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian Road Rules.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information and evaluate options for decision making.
