Expert Renewable Project Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled professional to lead the commissioning of various renewable projects through to full output operation. The ideal candidate will work closely with Transmission Network Service Providers (TNSPs) and Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) across the National Electricity Market.
The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out R2 model validation and driving the R2 close-out process. They will also be expected to strengthen our technical collaboration with clients by resolving individual project issues in a constructive manner, focusing on tangible outcomes.
Key responsibilities include providing expert technical advice and decision-making, utilising open problem-solving skills across areas such as performance standard assessment, power system stability, system strength remediation, registration, and commissioning. Additionally, the role involves supporting regulatory changes to recognise and facilitate the integration of large-scale renewable energy projects into the Australian electricity market.
We are looking for an individual who can develop a coordinated vision and framework for the integration of various generation and storage technologies into the NEM.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of Australia's renewable energy sector.
Requirements- A relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or other discipline relevant to power systems.
- Significant experience in Commissioning of renewable projects including T & D projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in R2 compliance requirements and R2 model validation.
- Proven ability to own and deliver small-medium projects, and practice a service-oriented, outcome-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Strong skills in overseeing generator commissioning and diagnosing performance challenges in generators and power systems.
