Job Title

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to join our team as a Group Financial Controller. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate globally to ensure reporting integrity, robust controls, and successful strategic initiatives.

The Group Financial Controller will partner closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board to deliver on statutory reporting, financial insight, risk management, and transformation projects across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a collaborative, high-performing finance team.
  • Oversee global month-end close processes, consolidations, and group reporting.
  • Maintain and improve internal control frameworks and compliance programs.
  • Drive working capital efficiency, cash flow forecasting, and process improvement.
  • Prepare half-year and annual consolidated financial statements, managing statutory and regulatory compliance across all entities.
  • Manage external audits, tax, and treasury activities.
  • Provide commercial insights and business partnering with senior leaders.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, digital transformation, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting initiatives.
  • Act as a key contact for auditors, banks, and regulatory stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have significant post-qualification experience in a multinational corporate or large audit environment. You will also possess strong technical accounting knowledge, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Experience in managing statutory audits, internal controls, and compliance is essential. Additionally, you will have proven leadership skills, excellent stakeholder management, and communication skills across geographies.

Preferred qualifications include exposure to treasury, tax, and global operations, as well as experience with enterprise resource planning systems and financial transformation projects. Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability disclosures is advantageous.
