Embedded Software Engineer Job Description

The company is seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex sensor systems operating in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and test embedded software features on Linux-based edge systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational and performance requirements.
  • Ensure code quality by implementing design patterns, testing, and scalable software architecture.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for implemented components.
  • Participate in software design discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Proven experience developing applications in modern C++ and/or Python.
  • Strong understanding of Linux development (embedded Linux preferred).
  • Familiarity with multi-process systems, IPC mechanisms, and concurrency principles.
  • Exposure to Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and versioning tools.

Bonus Points For:

  • Knowledge of performance optimization, low-latency systems, or machine learning.
  • Background in RF signal processing, DSP, or FPGA design.
  • Exposure to sensor integration, remote deployments, or DevOps practices.
