About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer - Electrical and Automation to join our team at The Arnott's Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and improve line performance by evaluating efficiency and reliability plans, ensuring safe work systems, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including equipment obsolescence plans, to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Collaborate with production crews, engineering, and reliability teams to enhance performance and knowledge through coaching and training.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities, problem-solving, and staying up-to-date with technology advancements within the reliability framework.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage small-scale improvement projects, resolve machine reliability issues, and coordinate project activities in a complex manufacturing environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade or engineering qualification in automation/electrical with FMCG operational and maintenance experience.
  • PLC knowledge and project management experience, with proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, solid team facilitation abilities, and creativity, innovation, perseverance, and knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience in applying problem-solving tools individually and within a team environment.
