Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting technical design solutions for physical and electronic security, providing security design and compliance advice to engineering and architecture teams, and mentoring junior security professionals.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed design documentation including physical security zone plans, electronic security plans, and electronic access control systems.
  • Provide security design and compliance advice on complex issues, communicating them concisely to clients.
  • Build and maintain trust-based, long-term professional relationships with clients across all levels.
  • Ensure compliance with Defence security requirements, SCEC and Security construction compliance audits, and inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications or Computer Systems Engineering.
  • More than 5 years' experience in security consulting, advising on physical and electronic security, including design, developing reports and specifications.
  • Passion for helping organisations assess and deliver security, risk, strategy and technology.
  • A current NSW Class 2A Security Consultant Licence.
