Job Description:

The Security Infrastructure Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal operation and continuous improvement of physical security systems at NSW Parliament and its 98 Electorate Offices.

This involves coordinating the operation, maintenance, technical support and server/network administration of Parliament's numerous physical security systems. The team fosters a commitment to collaboration, innovation, excellence, integrity and service.

Key responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive physical security infrastructure solutions, ensuring effective communication and alignment of mutual business goals throughout the process.

Working collaboratively with various stakeholders, the Security Infrastructure Coordinator will contribute to enhancing the overall security posture of the Parliament.

  • Successful implementation of physical security infrastructure solutions
  • Effective coordination and communication among teams
  • Continuously improving security systems and processes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess experience working in highly technical ICT or physical security infrastructure related roles. They should have specific examples of projects or initiatives related to design, management or maintenance of physical security infrastructure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also necessary for identifying and addressing security risks.
