Lead Assurance ICT Security Specialist

This critical role involves driving the development and implementation of robust ICT security governance and assurance measures.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice on secure system design, conduct compliance reviews, and deliver strategies to enhance the security of critical ICT systems and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on ICT systems within Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (T-SCIFs).
  • Identify vulnerabilities and contribute to security policy and system security planning.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews for compliance with established protocols.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure ICT security compliance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in applied research, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Expertise in security evaluation, functionality testing, and system design.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSEC, COMSEC, and Australian Government security protocols.
  • Ability to obtain TSPV clearance and complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA).
