Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Investigations Lawyer to join our Business Conduct and Ethics team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring, supervising, and conducting internal investigations involving potential legal and regulatory issues, including fraud allegations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate investigations and compliance programs, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. You will be a strong communicator, adept at working with multiple stakeholders, and able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal investigations and provide recommendations to senior executives
  • Develop and implement compliance programs to prevent and detect fraud
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex investigations
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance and ethics

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate investigations and compliance
  • Qualified lawyer and bar membership in good standing
  • Anti-corruption and bribery experience, including counseling and defense
  • Excellent English skills, including the ability to draft documents and conduct interviews

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in languages besides English
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with great people skills and a good sense of humor
