Job Title: Payroll Manager

  • Manage new starters' payee records in FastTrack and onboarded employees.
  • Update awards and EBA's information.
  • Ongoing management of the FastTrack payroll system.
  • Management and entry of rates, rules, client activation, and new debtor accounts.
  • Education and training on electronic timesheet approval, reporting, and invoices for clients.
  • Process weekly payroll, including wage subsidies, invoicing, and permanent placement invoicing.
  • Manage and update payroll checklists and allowance checklists.
  • Manage employee benefit schemes.
  • Statutory payroll tax and superannuation compliance and processing.
  • Liaise with consultants and recruiters.
  • Manage online, face-to-face, and phone-based queries.
  • Provide client reporting as required.
  • Distribute hours reporting to management.
  • Manage senior payroll officer duties and responsibilities.
  • Provide and coordinate training opportunities for senior payroll officers.

About This Role:

  • This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in payroll management, preferably with a recognized certification.
  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • FastTrack 360 payroll system experience is highly desirable.
  • A team player with exceptional time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lead by example and demonstrate integrity, ethics, and dependability.
