Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist manages employee payroll records, assists in day-to-day operations of payroll functions, conducts end-to-end processing and stays updated on award and legislative changes.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with responsibility for maintaining pay records and master files, making recommendations on system improvements and accurately processing payroll outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records
  • Processing payroll for multiple pay cycles including fortnightly and monthly pay cycles
  • Conducting end-to-end payroll processing
  • Staying updated on award and legislative changes
  • Providing support and guidance to employees and managers on payroll-related matters

To be successful in this role you will have a Diploma or Certificate in Payroll Administration or equivalent experience as well as demonstrated knowledge of key payroll principles and processes deep knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations and high-level computer skills.

  • Current National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of current work rights in Australia
