A leading provider of innovative solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team.

The Job Role

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant and equipment. With a strong background in electrical applications and manufacturing process experience, you will work alongside a skilled team to learn the ins and outs of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively prioritize activities, responding to breakdowns and undertaking preventative maintenance.
  • Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machinery.
  • Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches & motors, position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photoelectric devices.
  • Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and continuously enhance operational methods.
Requirements
  • A full Electrical license with a background in electrical applications and manufacturing process experience.
  • Willingness to learn about PLCs and automation systems; we seek motivated individuals who are eager to grow and develop in this area.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining safety standards.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a 'get the job done' approach every day.
