**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Maintenance & Site Services Superintendent, the Electrician role is a part of a multidisciplinary site-based team. They will perform a variety of tasks including plant maintenance, modification, overhauls, plant inspections and related duties on all plant and equipment, to meet the production and maintenance requirements of the Swanbank Power Station.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at Swanbank Power Station. You’ll be working 36.25 hours per week spread across 4 days.

**About you**:

- Minimum requirement of a recognised trade certificate (electrical).
- Minimum requirement of a Queensland Electrical Workers License or equivalent.
- A current manual driver’s license (c class).
- Previous maintenance experience in power stations or complex process and heavy industries with exposure to high voltage switching and maintenance.
- Certificate III and experience in Instrumentation and Control will be highly regarded.
- Electrical Equipment Hazardous Areas (EEHA) and High Voltage Isolation and Access (HVIA) certifications will be highly regarded.
- Experienced working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of Safe Work Systems and associated protocols.
- Demonstrated experience with a computerised maintenance management system.
- Demonstrated experience in trouble shooting and problem solving.
- Demonstrated experience in contractor supervision.
- An understanding of systems construction, capacities, limitations, theories of operation, plant design, equipment locations, valving configurations, normal ranges of flow, temperature and levels, complex instrumentation and automatic control systems.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
