Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre alongside our Host Company, Holcim, are striving for community lead employment solutions. We are currently seeking an** Electrotechnology apprentice** to join Holcim’s team in Swanbank, QLD (Ipswich).

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre alongside our Host Company, Holcim, are striving for community lead employment solutions. We are currently seeking an** Electrotechnology (Electrical) apprentice** to join Holcim’s team in Swanbank, QLD (Ipswich).

**Benefits**:
As a full-time Australian Apprentice in this trade you will receive $1,250 every six months for the first two years of your apprenticeship ($5,000 in total). This is on top of your wage

- A dedicated field consultant to support you throughout your apprenticeship
- A nationally recognised qualification

**Your duties may include**:

- Understand electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and diagrams to determine job requirements
- Plan and measure the layout of wiring systems
- Test, find, and repair electrical problems
- Assemble electrical and electronic appliances
- Connect electrical equipment to power supplies

**Desirable requirements**:

- Driver’s license and reliable transport
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Positive approach to workplace safety
- A desire for this trade

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia
