Property Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a Property Lawyer to join our team and contribute to the development of practical guidance resources.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in transactional and advisory work in property law, including sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing, and general property law (such as easements and covenants).

  • A background in drafting and maintaining up-to-date content, as well as providing support to Relationship Managers, is also highly valued.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining practically-focused content, monitoring legal developments, and supporting the Senior Legal Writer with managing external author relationships.

This full-time permanent role offers a unique opportunity to transition from practice into a content-focused legal career while staying at the forefront of property law developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality content that meets the needs of our customers.

  • Monitor legal developments and changes in current practice to ensure our resources remain relevant and accurate.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Legal Writer to manage external author relationships and review externally prepared content.

  • Provide support to Relationship Managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years PQE with a solid understanding of property law.

  • Australian qualified lawyer with recent experience in an Australian mid to top-tier law firm, in-house counsel, or Government role.

  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills.

  • Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
