About this Role

We are seeking a driven lawyer to join our friendly and collaborative Property team.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to cement a career within a busy and diverse property law practice.

You will be a valued member of a team where practitioners are encouraged to be responsible for their own matters and given autonomy. Key areas of the Property and Planning practice which you will be exposed to include:

  • Residential and commercial conveyancing;
  • Retail and commercial leasing;
  • Acting for state and local government authorities on leasing, acquisition and disposals of land and easements.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • 1-3 years of post-admission experience with predominant experience in conveyancing, leasing and other property transactions in NSW;
  • Experience using the PEXA platform;
  • A passion for property law;
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities;
  • Strong analytical and research skills;
  • Ability to work as part of a team; and
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Legal qualifications and admission to practice in NSW;
  • Strong understanding of property law and relevant legislation;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
