Job Opportunity

We are seeking a well-rounded Water Systems Specialist to join our team.

This role will enable you to showcase and use your technical knowledge of conveyance pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plants and apply them to today's challenges.

You will have a chance to mentor, learn and work independently as a key member.

This opportunity will see you providing solutions and services to clients off and on site, taking lead roles in project engineering and technical leadership.

You'll be able to build strong customer relationships and demonstrate your ability to understand client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer registration / or looking to obtain chartership.
  • Understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices.
  • Broad experience in water conveyance and hydraulic engineering that includes large diameter pipelines and networks, pump stations, treatment plants, and hydraulic structures.

Strong experience with hydraulic analyses covering:

  • Pressurised pipelines and networks.
  • Pump system curves.
  • Fluid transients and design of mitigation measures.
  • Gravity sewer, stormwater, and other gravity-driven flows.
  • Treatment plant hydraulics.
  • Open channel flow.
  • Flow control and energy dissipation structures.
  • Management of air entrainment.
