Accounts Receivable Officer Role Overview

A career opportunity exists for a dedicated and results-driven professional to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Officer. This permanent full-time position is based in our modern office in Duncan Street, Fortitude Valley, close to public transport and parking.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate allocation of payments to accounts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reconciling daily banking, journals, and accounts
  • Processing payments, generating invoices, and assisting with debt recovery
  • Maintaining accurate records for direct debits and credit cards
  • Providing backup support to team members as needed
  • Delivering professional, timely communication with team members, customers, and managers

This role requires a strong attention to detail, a team-oriented attitude, and a proactive approach to streamlining accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, intermediate-level computer proficiency, and experience with financial software.
