**Lead Group** is a respected business advisory firm delivering exceptional services to clients across Australia.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Services Accountant to join our team in Brisbane, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Utilize a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, with expertise.
  • Provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients, analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist clients in monitoring performance.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and promote quality product delivery to further these relationships.
  • Recognize potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promote the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
  • Participate in team training and mentoring, contributing to the growth of the team's knowledge and the business as a whole.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within Business Services, with strong technical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field, with CA/CPA qualifications either completed or working towards them.
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools such as Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency status, or valid work rights.
